Administrative Office

Scholes Street Recycling

Scholes Street Recycling (SSR), an affiliate of Mr. T Carting Corp. that’s owned and operated by the Principals of Mr. T Carting, specializes in processing paper, cardboard, plastic, and Single Stream Recycling. SSR is located next to our waste transfer facility in North Brooklyn, NY.

Hi Tech Resource Recovery

Hi-Tech Resource Recovery, an affiliate of Mr. T Carting Corp., is a New York State licensed solid waste transfer facility that is a receiver of non-hazardous material. 
Mr. T Carting, and other companies licensed by the New York City Business Integrity Commission, deliver up to 500 tons of material per day for sorting and processing.

Public Scale

Housed in Scholes Street Recycling – adjacent to Hi-Tech Resource Recovery – is a certified scale used to weigh in/out all trucks up to 40 feet in length. The 200,000 lb capacity scale is open to the public.

 

Vehicle Maintenance Facility

Located next to our Administrative Office in Glendale, our truck maintenance facility ensures that our fleet is ready for each night’s work, minimizing down-time and service disruptions. Modern heavy-duty trucks are complex pieces of equipment and we operate one of the most modern truck fleets in the industry. Our vehicles, in addition to their state-of-the-art emission control systems, are equipped with an on-board computer, GPS monitor, five video cameras each, and side guards. Our innovative Fleet Management program helps us maintain safety & efficiency while navigating the busy streets.

Container Maintenance Facility

Our container shop maintains our rear-load, roll-off containers, compactors, and Organic Waste Toters. Our experienced team performs all types of maintenance to assure our containers remain in good working condition and looking their best. Our innovative fabrication and repair shop can build-to-suit. Various compactor modifications can be made to accommodate specific site requirements, including:

  • Painting
  • Welding
  • Wheel and caster replacement
  • Cover/lid repair
  • Anti-roll wheel chocks
  • Odor control – we can provide non-hazardous, environmentally friendly odor neutralizer to mask unpleasant odors. Please ask our customer service team about any additional costs.
